NASA Educational Smithsonian Institute Touchscreen Kiosk at NASA exhibit, CD ROM and Microsite. Evolve Media designed and developed an interactive CD ROM that was given out to educators and students at the Smithsonian Institute. The installation at the museum featured experiments on the Space Shuttle Columbia’s mission, STS-107, that could also be duplicated in the school room setting.
The project was a success, but unfortunately this was a project for the ill-fated STS-107 and was the 113th flight of the Space Shuttle program, and the 28th and final flight of Space Shuttle Columbia. The mission ended, on February 1, 2003, with the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster which killed all seven crew members and destroyed the space shuttle.
There were many people that we worked closely with that were affected by this tragedy. We were deeply saddened to learn about this tragic loss when it happened. Our collective hearts went out to the team and all of the people directly affected by this tragic loss during that incredibly difficult time...
